I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University, with a concentration in painting and a minor in sculpture. I have been a professional studio artist for 17 years.

I come from a long line of artists. My father, my mother, my paternal grandparents, and their parents too. I am a wife, and a mother to three beautiful artists in training, and I love my family, and my community, greatly.

I have had the privilege of teaching high school art, showcasing work in galleries across the state, contributing murals to many locations, and being featured in numerous publications. I proudly served on the board for the Texas Arts and Music Festival, and have recently co-founded the Brenham Art Alliance.

I am currently hanging in the Hoity Toity Peacock Art Gallery and also at Mescalitos, both located in Brenham, Texas.
